Welcome to Impacts Online Shop. We sell stamps that are twice the size of standard stamps. Because the size of the seal is also twice that of standard stamps, we are able to provide expressive, unique, and custom-made stamps.

How to choose a product

Choose your favorite stamp from Akane or Hinoki. Akane comes in a paulownia wood box, while Hinoki comes in a leather box. On each product detail page, choose the font, type, and pattern, and enter the characters to be engraved on the seal.

About types

You can choose the type of stamp from "A" to "F". Please select your preferred type. You can select the type on the product detail page. Please note that there are restrictions on the amount of text you can enter depending on the type.

About the font

You can choose from "kaisho-tai" (regular script), "tensho-tai" (seal script), or "reisho-tai" (clerical script) for the font to be engraved on the seal. You can select the font on the product detail page.

  • block font

    Kaisho style is one of the styles of Chinese characters. It is divided into two types: "handwritten style" and "printed style." The former is called kaisho and the latter is called kaisho style.

  • Seal font

    Seal script is the style used for the two seal impressions used on Japanese banknotes, "Governor's Seal" and "Director of Issuance Bureau." The Golden Seal of the King of Wa, said to be the oldest seal in Japan, was also made in this style.

  • Clerical script

    Clerical script (reisho tai) is one of the styles of Chinese characters. A transitional style of calligraphy that is a simplification of seal script is called "Qinli", and its main characteristics are that it has a wavy stroke (hataku) on both sides and each character is long and horizontal.

About the pattern

We have over 10 different designs to choose from for engraving on the seal surface. You can choose your favorite design and have it engraved around the seal surface.

The product is delicately decorated with traditional Japanese patterns, allowing you to feel the Japanese aesthetic sense every time you use it. It has a beautiful finish that can be cherished like an accessory.

About the package

We offer two types of boxes: paulownia wood boxes and leather boxes. The paulownia wood boxes offer stamps made of Akane wood, while the leather boxes offer stamps made of Hinoki wood. Both boxes (packages) come with a stamp, vermilion ink pad, and a message card. You can use them to store your important stamps or just to display them.

About orders

All of our stamps are made to order. Please select and enter the "type," "font," "name," and "pattern" on the product detail page, then add it to your cart. Please note that you cannot select the quantity.

Order flow

  • On the product details page, select and enter the "type," "font," "name," and "pattern"
  • Add to cart, pay and proceed to the order completion page
  • We will email you the seal design and reply after confirmation.
  • Once the seal design is finalized, it is engraved and delivered.

Ordering process

  • On the product detail page for either "Akane" or "Hinoki," select the "Type," "Font," and "Pattern," and enter the text of your choice.
  • Please note that the number of characters that can be entered varies depending on the type.
  • Once you add it to your cart and make the payment, we will send you the designed seal by email within a few days.
  • If there are any corrections you would like to make, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
  • Once we have received your approval regarding the seal, we will proceed to the actual digging work.
  • Once the product is completed, we will ship it to you. You will be notified by email.

Check the seal

After placing your order, we will email you an image file of the seal design within a few days. Please check it on your computer or smartphone. If it does not meet your expectations, please reply to us. We will redesign the seal to reflect your requests as much as possible.

Shipping after confirmation

Once we have received your approval of the seal design, we will begin the engraving process. We will not begin carving the seal until then. Once your approval of the seal design has been confirmed, we will begin the shipping process within two weeks.

Payment

Cash on delivery, credit card payments, Apple Pay, and Amazon Pay are available. Accepted credit cards are VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club. Installment payments are also possible, but the number of installments will vary depending on the amount used and the card company. Bonus lump-sum payments are not available.

About shipping fees

We offer free shipping nationwide. We will deliver your order via Yamato Transport's Kuroneko service.

Regarding orders for multiple items

If you purchase multiple items, they will be shipped as soon as all items are ready. If we are unable to fulfill your order due to a mismatch in orders, we will be sure to contact you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding. Also, due to system limitations, we are unable to ship multiple items separately when purchasing multiple items. Thank you for your understanding.

Regarding delivery date

Our online store will ship your product within approximately two weeks after you have confirmed and confirmed the preview of the print. You cannot specify the delivery time or desired delivery date. We will contact you by email after the product has been shipped to inform you of the method of contact when it is shipped.

About delivery destination

We only accept deliveries within Japan. Please note that we cannot accept orders for delivery to public facilities or for forwarding due to product storage management.

Gift wrapping

All products will be delivered wrapped in a furoshiki cloth. A paper gift bag will be included with each product.

Returns and Exchanges

Because these are custom-made products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges after an order has been placed. We strive to ensure the highest quality of our products, but in the unlikely event that there is a defect, such as an incorrect engraving or a product defect, we will promptly process the exchange or return. Please be sure to contact us within 7 days of receiving the product. In addition, we will cover the return shipping costs for defective products.

About receipts

If you require a receipt, please contact us using the inquiry form and include your order number. We will send you a receipt (simple, qualified invoice) by email.

  • If a ticket is reissued, "Reissue" will be written on the receipt.
  • If you do not specify the "Name of recipient", we will write the "Name of the person who placed the order" as the "Name of recipient".
  • The "Notes" will be written as "(Product name) purchase price."

About cooling off

Under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act, sales through this service are not subject to the cooling-off period. The cooling-off period is a system designed to protect customers from forced sales, such as door-to-door sales, and does not apply to mail-order sales, where customers are able to consider purchasing of their own volition.

FAQ

Questions about seals

Can a stamp with a stamping foil be used as a real seal?

Each city, town, or village has its own regulations regarding the seals that can be registered as official seals, and most municipalities require that the size of the seal image must fit within a square of 8 to 25 mm, so stamps with a 30 mm diameter foil cannot be registered as official seals. Please check the regulations of your local government for details.

Can stamps with foil be used as bank seals?

There are generally no strict size rules for bank seals, but most seals are between 12mm and 15mm in size, so you may not be able to register your seal. Please check with each bank.

I'm worried that I won't be able to tell the top and bottom of the print, but can I still make a mark?

To distinguish between the top and bottom, the "with foil" logo is attached to the top of the imprint characters as a mark.

Can you engrave characters other than kanji (katakana, English letters, hiragana)?

All are possible. We may also be able to engrave in languages other than English, so please inquire.

Can I order by phone?

Unfortunately, we do not accept orders over the phone due to the risk of mistakes in engraving and delivery address.

Is credit card the only payment method?

Credit card payment and PayPal are available.

I haven't received an order confirmation email?

Please double-check your email address as it may be incorrect or you may have blocked emails. Also, please make sure that you can receive emails from the domain "@impacts.jp".

I would like it sent as soon as possible.

We will engrave your seal after receiving your order and confirming the preview of the seal, so it will take longer than a regular seal. We will do our best to accommodate your request, so please contact us using the inquiry form .

Will I receive an email confirming shipment?

Yes, we will send you an email on the day your order is shipped.

Can I cancel?

Since this is a made-to-order product, cancellations cannot be made after an order has been placed.

Can I return it?

Because these are custom-made products, returns are not accepted after delivery.
